Emirates Entrepreneurship Association Signs Memorandum of Understanding with Abu Dhabi University

Emirates Entrepreneurship Association signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Abu Dhabi University at the university’s headquarters. The signing ceremony was attended by Sanad Al Meqbali, Chairman of the Association’s Board, and Dr. Ghassan Awad, Director of Abu Dhabi University.
Representing the Association were Jassim Al Shukr, Board Member, and Mohammed Ahrimo, Executive Director. From Abu Dhabi University, the attendees included Professor Thomas, Executive Director, Salem Al Dhaheri, and Dr. Alberto Peralta, Director of the Innovation Department. During the ceremony, Sanad Al Meqbali expressed that the collaboration with Abu Dhabi University represents a promising opportunity to support entrepreneurs in the UAE, assist small and medium enterprises (SMEs), and contribute to the national economy through training, business incubation, and development. During a tour of the Innovation Center and Business Incubator at the university, Al Meqbali emphasized that integration between the Association and the university is essential to advance the entrepreneurship sector. This collaboration leverages the Association’s expertise, entrepreneurs’ experience, and the distinguished academic and research capabilities of Abu Dhabi University. The primary goal is to support and qualify successful entrepreneurs from the university by equipping them with scientific and practical knowledge and connecting them with relevant entities in the entrepreneurship sector.
For his part, Professor Ghassan Awad, Director of Abu Dhabi University, highlighted the importance of this partnership with the Emirates Entrepreneurship Association, a leading institution in the field. He stated that the collaboration will enhance their shared goals and support the university’s ongoing efforts to train and qualify entrepreneurs through services offered by the Innovation Center and Business Incubator. The university focuses on fostering a spirit of innovation and entrepreneurship among students both during their studies and after graduation.
The agreement includes cooperation on joint programs and development activities related to entrepreneurship and community service. Both parties aim to collaborate on capacity-building for micro, small, and medium enterprises, knowledge exchange, student training, and areas related to technological innovation and sustainability.
This agreement is part of the Association’s continuous efforts to establish effective and lasting partnerships with academic institutions to support and qualify entrepreneurs and SMEs.
