The Emirates Entrepreneurship Association participated in the seventh edition of the Sharjah Entrepreneurship Festival 2024, held under the theme "Together, We Shape the Future", which kicked off last Saturday morning at the Sharjah Research, Technology and Innovation Park. The event was attended by Sheikha Bodour bint Sultan Al Qasimi, Chairperson of Sharjah Entrepreneurship Center (Sheraa), alongside a distinguished group of economic leaders and prominent figures in the entrepreneurship sector.

This participation comes as part of the Association’s ongoing efforts to contribute to building the national entrepreneurship ecosystem, anticipate the future of entrepreneurship, and empower Emirati entrepreneurs. Prior to the festival, the Association signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Sheraa to establish a framework for mutual cooperation.

As part of its participation in the festival, the Association organized an interactive workshop attended by a group of entrepreneurs. The session covered key aspects of entrepreneurship, spotlighted the UAE’s overall competitive economic position, and particularly highlighted Sharjah’s entrepreneurial landscape. It also showcased success stories of entrepreneurs operating in various sectors across the emirate.

Commenting on the participation, His Excellency Sanad Al Meqbali, Chairman of the Board of the Emirates Entrepreneurship Association, emphasized that the Sharjah Entrepreneurship Festival reflects the vision and directives of the wise leadership and showcases the emirate's commitment to supporting entrepreneurship and Emirati entrepreneurs. He noted that Sharjah, with its leading economic and cultural foundations and robust support for entrepreneurs, has become a primary destination for entrepreneurship. The emirate’s initiatives to establish specialized centers and business incubators have strengthened the sustainability of economic growth.

H.E. Al Meqbali also highlighted the importance of the Association's presence at the festival, which serves as a premier platform for gathering entrepreneurs under one roof to explore opportunities, address challenges, and exchange knowledge.
