The Emirates Entrepreneurship Association signed a strategic Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Umm Al Quwain Chamber of Commerce and Industry.





As part of its ongoing efforts to support and empower entrepreneurs in the United Arab Emirates, the Emirates Entrepreneurship Association signed a strategic Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Umm Al Quwain Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

The MoU aims to establish an institutional collaboration focused on knowledge exchange and maximizing the opportunities, capabilities, and expertise available to both parties.

The Umm Al Quwain Chamber of Commerce and Industry was represented at the signing by H.E. Abdullah Saif Al Hasawi, Board Member and Head of the Entrepreneurship Center at the Chamber, while the Emirates Entrepreneurship Association was represented by H.E. Thamer Al Qasimi, Board Member and Chief Executive Officer of the Association.

Main Objectives and Areas of Cooperation:

The MoU included several strategic areas aimed at developing the entrepreneurship sector, most notably:

Institutional Knowledge Collaboration: Building a strategic partnership focused on exchanging knowledge and expertise and maximizing the available opportunities and capabilities of both parties.

Supporting Entrepreneurial Projects: Exploring ways to support startups and collaborate in marketing initiatives and event organization that enhance the entrepreneurial ecosystem.

Training and Development: Providing training programs and specialized courses for startup owners to strengthen their skills and capabilities in managing and growing their businesses.

Joint Research and Studies: Participating in research and consultancy projects and developing joint mechanisms or alliances to address the challenges faced by entrepreneurs.

Empowerment and Joint Promotion: Collaborating on joint announcements and publications to highlight developmental activities and promote the culture of entrepreneurship across the country.

Both parties emphasized during the signing that this MoU serves as a general framework for cooperation aimed at facilitating the business environment and enhancing investment and sustainable economic development.
